What do you offer?

We offer bespoke travel planning, mostly in Italy but also covering France, Switzerland and the Balearic Islands in spain

Do you book Flights

No, we do not book flights. However, we will assist with overall scheduling and recommend the airport in Italy for arrival and departure. We are also happy to provide personal opinions on specific airlines upon request.

How does the Process work?

We accept clients on a referral basis. Once you contact us via email or phone, we normally send you a travel questionnaire to gain more information about your interests, number of people travelling, budget, etc… After we have additional information, we will send you a trip proposal and then work together on refining it. We make all reservations on your behalf from the minute your trip starts, until your plane departs and will send you a final detailed itinerary a few weeks prior to your trip along with travel checklists, tips, and a file containing your tickets and vouchers for tours, transport and experiences.

How does your pricing work?

Pricing depends on various factors, including but not limited to where you are visiting, how many days, and how many people in your party.  Prices for a 7 day itinerary with 4* accommodations normally start from 9,000-12,000 Euro (for two people). Please note we do not offer a breakdown of prices on our custom packages

What makes you different from a travel agent?

We live and work in Europe and have contacts on the ground. Unlike many travel agents who have never been to Italy, we constantly visit our hotel and experience partners, and have built personal relationships with tour guides, restaurants, experience providers and other vendors. We speak Italian and our knowledge of Italy and Europe is vast and experience-based.

What kind of accommodations do you book?

Depending on your budget we offer 4 + 5-star hotels, luxury B&Bs, castles, and villas.  In order to ensure quality of services, we do not book Airbnb or VRBO properties for our clients.  If you are interested in Villa rental we can source that for you through our trusted partners

How does payment work:

We collect a 30% deposit at time of confirmation in order to secure bookings on your behalf and the trip balance 30 days before trip start date.  Accepted payment methods: Check, Zelle, Bank transfer, Credit Card (3% service charge for credit card payments)

What is your cancellation policy?

60 Days: 100% Refund; 30-59 Days: 50% Refund; 15-29 Days: 25% Refund; less than 15 days: no refund possible. N.B. a partial planning and administration feeof 6% will be applied in case of cancellation at anytime 

Do you book restaurant reservations?

Yes.  We will recommend restaurants based on your preferences, and can secure bookings on your behalf.  As most restaurants are now requiring credit card information to guarantee reservations, If you would like My Italy VIP to make reservations on your behalf, you will need to provide us with a valid credit card to use for guaranteeing reservations. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalty fees.

Will we have access to you once in Italy:

Yes! Our team can be reached during whatsapp, phone or email throughout your trip in case of emergencies, changes, questions or feedback

Where are you located?

We are based between Geneva Switzerland and Rome Italy, but our business HQ is in Bloomfield Hills Michigan, USA
